Check-In

The safety of our children is of the highest concern to us at Longview Nazarene.  When you arrive, head to the check-in station.  There you will check in your child based on age and be asked to fill out some basic information (your contact information, allergies etc).  The check-in attendant will then direct you to the proper classroom where you can meet the teacher and leave your child to age appropriate worship activities.

For the safety of your children, only those who are authorized by a parent or guardian at sign-in will be allowed to retrieve a child from the Kid's Town.

Nursery

We offer nursery services during our Sunday School hour and our worship service up to age 3. Like all of our kids workers, our nursery workers are background checked to ensure the safety of your children.

Pre-Schoolers

For our pre-schoolers Age 3 (potty trained) - 5 years we have activities during Sunday School and Sunday morning worship.  Head upstairs to the Kid's zone and check your kids in with the teacher there.  Kids checked in during Sunday School will be taken directly to kid's church.

During worship, the kids will have an age-appropriate bible story, craft and a snack.  Please remember to sign your child out at the  check-in desk before going upstairs.

Elementary

On Sunday mornings we offer activities for school - aged children (through 6th grade) during Sunday School and Worship.  Check your child in a the desk and then take them upstairs to their class.  During Sunday School and worship the kids will have bible teaching and activities that feed hearts as well as minds.

As we are a community that places value on worship of all ages, we include our elementary age children in the music portion of our worship service.  Parents are asked to come and get their children from Sunday for worship in song together.  Children will then be dismissed to go to Children's church when the song service is over.

If you check your child in before Sunday School there is no need to re-check before children's church.

Please remember to come and sign your children out following the worship service. For the safety of each child, children will only be released to those previously approved by their parent or guardian.

Kid's Bulletins

We know that sitting through a service can be a bit much as a kid.  That's why we provide a Kid's Bulletin each week.  The Kid's bulletin has activities related to the texts for each Sunday.  We also provide a "Children's Moment" insert with questions based on the texts each Sunday for parents and kids to discuss the sermon and what they learned in church (or Children's Church).  Pick your Kids Bulletin up at the Family Ministry board to the left of the sanctuary entrance.
