Family Worship Sunday

So often on Sunday mornings families get to church and immediately spread out into classes and services broken up according to age groups.  While age-appropriate learning is good, we also believe that families are stronger when they have opportunities to worship together.  Children are ALWAYS available in our worship services, however, on the first Sunday of each month, we cancel children's church so that we can worship together as families and as an extended family.  We will have a multi-generational song service and an interactive sermon for the whole family and then end around the table as we partake of communion together.

What about infants?

While your entire family is welcome at any services, on Family Worship Sundays we cancel children's church, but still offer services for infants through kindergarten aged.  You may check your child in at the Check-in desk located by the east entrance.

What's the difference?

Instead of simply having the kids sit in on a 'regular' service with communion, we want to create an interactive environment where kids, teens and adults will learn together.  So we will spend time singing (led by all ages), have an interactive sermon by pastor Katy and then we will share in communion together.
